it’s wild to me when people try to adopt the new aesthetic of the month and it’s like oh I must buy this specific brand of makeup and I must buy this brand of clothes and own these items in particular when it’s like, the people who made that aesthetic popular weren’t following a checklist they were just being themselves and buying what they authentically like. and now everyone just jacks their style and you end up with a thousand people all using the exact same accessories and shoes and hairstyle and water bottle and it’s so boringgggg.
